A man from Spearwood has been charged with a series of serious offences following an alleged violent assault and robbery in Northbridge that left a victim unconscious and hospitalised.

Police allege that the 44-year-old suspect assaulted a man, believed to be in his fifties, on James Street near Nick's Lane in Northbridge at approximately 11:15 PM on Thursday night. The attack reportedly rendered the victim unconscious before the offender stole from him and fled the scene towards William Street.
Victim's Condition and Community Response
According to authorities, bystanders provided assistance to the injured man until paramedics arrived. He was subsequently transported to Royal Perth Hospital, where he was treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Police are continuing efforts to formally identify the victim, who is thought to be aged in his fifties.
