Police have issued a missing persons alert for 43-year-old Jason Kelly, who has not been seen or heard from for more than two weeks. He was last sighted at 10am on Friday, April 24, in the Canberra city centre.
Details of Disappearance
ACT Policing confirmed that the case was referred to them by interstate police. Authorities have released an image of Kelly in an effort to generate leads.
Kelly is described as Caucasian, approximately 175cm (5'9") tall, with light brown hair and a fair complexion. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a grey hoodie under a dark-coloured jacket featuring distinctive wooden coat buttons, dark-coloured pants, light-coloured sneakers, a cap, and carrying a small brown bag.
Police Appeal
"Police and Jason's family hold concerns for his welfare, and are requesting the public's assistance to locate him," the ACT Policing alert stated.
Anyone who has seen Jason Kelly or has information regarding his whereabouts is urged to contact police on 131 444, quoting reference number 8377085.
The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to trace his movements and ensure his safe return.
