One Nation leader Pauline Hanson has taken to social media to boast about a ‘sexy’ new private plane and millions of dollars in donations. The 71-year-old Queenslander introduced a new donated Cirrus G7 private plane via X on Wednesday morning, which Hanson said will allow her to visit more regional towns. The aircraft typically costs between $1.5 and $1.9 million and can fly for up to five hours without stopping.
She also thanked former Northern Territory chief minister Adam Giles and mining geologist and climate change denier Ian Plimer for donations of $500,000 each. Both men are reported to be the heads of firms operated by Australian billionaire Gina Rinehart.
Hanson also thanked stockbroker Angus Aitken and his wife Sarah for a $1 million donation, calling the pair “two wonderful, patriotic Australians”. “Their faith and investment in One Nation is an enormous help towards our next federal campaign and I can’t thank them enough,” she said.
“We have a lot of additional fundraising to undertake between now and the cut-off in December to combat the uni-party ahead of the 2028 federal election. I want to pass on my sincere thanks to everyone who has made a contribution to One Nation over the years. I cannot thank you enough for the hope and encouragement you give me to help turn this country around.”
Hanson ended the post by telling people to “keep an eye out” for her maiden voyage. Politicians and parties in Australia are required to declare political donations above a specific threshold, which is adjusted annually with the full amount of donations made public at the end of the reporting period. The 2025-2026 threshold to report was $17,300, with Hanson’s new donations potentially now peaking at over $3 million.
