A serious multi-vehicle collision involving a truck and three cars has brought traffic to a standstill at Fern Bay, with two individuals reported trapped inside their vehicles.

The incident occurred on Nelson Bay Road near Fullerton Cove Road shortly after 3pm on Tuesday. Emergency services, including police, firefighters, and paramedics, were dispatched to the scene promptly. Both lanes of the road are currently obstructed, but diversions have been established to manage the flow of traffic. Motorists are strongly advised to reduce their speed, exercise extreme caution, and avoid the area if possible.
Injuries and Response
NSW Ambulance paramedics are assessing multiple patients, believed to be four in total, though details regarding their ages and the extent of their injuries remain limited at this stage. Several paramedic crews have been deployed to provide medical assistance.
