Wild footage has emerged of two teenagers allegedly going on a rampage through a supermarket in Brisbane's west, forcing shoppers to evacuate.

Incident at Woolworths Keperra

The alleged incident occurred at the Woolworths in the Great Western Super Centre in Keperra about 3pm on Friday. Shoppers were evacuated from the store as the teenagers caused chaos.

Footage Shows Trail of Destruction

Video shared on social media later that day shows the two teenagers leaving behind a trail of items scattered across an aisle. They were then filmed walking through the self-service checkout area while an evacuation alarm blared over the speakers.

One of the teenagers was seen shrugging at onlookers while holding a phone to her ear in one hand and a drink in the other. Another video showed two police officers rushing into the supermarket in search of the duo.

Arrests and Charges

Police confirmed that two girls, a 15-year-old from Kedron and a 14-year-old from Goodna, were arrested at the scene and taken into custody. They have both been charged with one count each of entering a premise to commit willful damage and assault causing bodily harm.

The older girl was also charged with two counts of common assault, while the younger was charged with one count of common assault. They are expected to appear before the Brisbane Childrens Court on Saturday.
