Little Creatures Launches Revitalised Fremantle Brewpub with $10 Million Upgrade
Little Creatures has officially unveiled its newly transformed Fremantle home, marking a significant milestone with a vibrant launch event that celebrated a $10 million upgrade to the iconic venue. The revitalised brewpub retains its beloved charm while introducing two all-new levels of elevated spaces, designed for maximum comfort and offering sweeping views over the picturesque Fishing Boat Harbour.
Star-Studded Celebration with Local Dignitaries and Entertainment
The grand opening welcomed partners, local businesses, and Fremantle identities, including Mayor Ben Lawver, who enjoyed ice-cold Little Creatures beers poured straight from the source. Guests were treated to roaming canapés and generous grazing stations curated by Chef Andrew Mann, adding a culinary delight to the festivities.
Lively entertainment set the tone for the evening, with sax players, stilt-walking jugglers, and hula hoop performers surprising attendees throughout the night. The celebration culminated in a full-scale party when world-renowned DJ Hot Dub Time Machine took to the decks, delivering a crowd-pleasing set that spanned hits from the 1970s through to today, transforming the bustling brewpub into an electrifying dance floor.
Historic Relocation and Enhanced Accessibility
This relocation comes 25 years after the venue first opened, now offering enhanced accessibility with guests able to arrive via the harbour—even by boat. Located at 42 Mews Road, the new Little Creatures Fremantle brewpub combines historic significance with modern amenities, ensuring a memorable experience for all visitors.
The event highlighted the venue's commitment to community and innovation, with attendees including notable figures such as Robyn Glowacki and Danka O'Mara from Kinetica CDT, alongside Ross Vegas and Jennie Friesen from Generosity Arts, who added to the festive atmosphere as ringleaders.
Overall, the launch not only showcased the $10 million investment in Fremantle's cultural landscape but also reinforced Little Creatures' position as a premier destination for social gatherings and entertainment in Western Australia.
