Little Creatures Celebrates Major Fremantle Transformation with Glitzy Launch
Little Creatures has officially revealed its newly upgraded Fremantle venue, marking a significant milestone with a $10 million revitalisation project. The launch event, held on Friday, 27 March 2026, drew a crowd of partners, local businesses, and prominent Fremantle figures, including Mayor Ben Lawver, to celebrate the brewpub's enhanced offerings.
Elevated Spaces and Iconic Charm Preserved
The revamped location retains the beloved character of the original while introducing two brand-new levels designed for maximum comfort and enjoyment. These additions provide sweeping, panoramic views over Fishing Boat Harbour, creating an inviting atmosphere for guests. Attendees were treated to ice-cold Little Creatures beers poured directly from the source, complemented by roaming canapés and generous grazing stations curated by Chef Andrew Mann.
Entertainment and Festive Atmosphere
The evening was filled with lively entertainment that set a festive tone, featuring sax players, stilt-walking jugglers, and hula hoop performers who surprised guests throughout the night. The celebration reached its peak when world-renowned DJ Hot Dub Time Machine took to the decks, delivering a crowd-pleasing set that spanned music from the 1970s to the present day, transforming the bustling brewpub into an all-out party.
Historical Context and Accessibility
This relocation and upgrade come 25 years after the venue first opened, offering guests new ways to arrive, including via the harbour—even by boat. Located at 42 Mews Road in Fremantle, the enhanced Little Creatures brewpub now stands as a premier destination for social gatherings and culinary experiences.
