From February 21 to March 1, 2026, residents and visitors can immerse themselves in a diverse array of cultural activities that cater to all tastes and ages.

Free Outdoor Concerts and Family Fun

Kick off the weekend with Sounds in the Park on Saturday, February 21, at 5pm in Ryrie Reserve, Como. This event features singer-songwriter Conrad Sewell alongside local indie band Shorehaven, offering a night of music under the stars. Attendees are encouraged to bring picnic blankets and enjoy dinner from food trucks, while roving entertainment from Acrobatch and kids' activities from Art Jam WA add to the festive atmosphere. Youth makers' markets will also be present, making it a perfect family outing.

On the same day, Symphony on the Green takes place from 5.30pm to 9pm at Village Green in Rockingham. Conductor Jen Winley leads the WA Symphony Orchestra, supported by vocalists Annie Aitken and Lorina Gore, and saxophonist Matthew Styles. This family-friendly concert encourages low chairs, cushions, and picnic rugs, with food and drink available for purchase.

Dance Festivals and Interactive Performances

From February 21 to 28, Perth Moves transforms Forrest Place into a hub of dance as part of Perth Festival. Highlights include an all-in dance battle on February 21 from 6pm, featuring a DJ, MC, and expert judges. From February 26 to 28, Cercles, an open-air dance workshop led by French choreographer Boris Charmatz, invites 150 amateur dancers to collaborate with professionals. The public can watch the project evolve from 5.30pm to 8.30pm daily.
