Jake Miles-Wrency has spent the last five years pursuing basketball, representing Queensland at the state level and playing collegiate basketball in Illinois. Prior to his basketball journey, he was a standout state footballer, earning the prestigious Jason Akermanis Medal as the best player at the Queensland U14 State Championships. During that time, he played alongside Levi Ashcroft, showcasing his early talent in the sport.
Expressing his excitement, Miles-Wrency said, "It's been unreal. Getting the call from 'Mini' (Andrew McQualter) last week was so special and meant so much.
