A man has been rushed to hospital under lights and sirens after being hit by a car north of Perth.

Incident Details

Three St John Ambulance crews responded to the call about 6.20pm on Monday evening on Pinjar Road near Flynn Drive in Carramar, approximately 35 kilometres north of the city centre.

The man, believed to be in his 20s, was on foot when he was struck by a vehicle. He was immediately attended to by paramedics at the scene before being transported to Royal Perth Hospital, arriving just after 7pm.

Current Condition

Hospital officials have described his condition as serious. He remains under medical care as of Monday night.

Major crash investigators are currently at the scene, examining the circumstances surrounding the collision. Police have urged motorists to avoid the area of Pinjar Road near Flynn Drive while the investigation continues.
