Special guests were treated to an exclusive first look at Western Australia's most spectacular display of floral artistry at the launch of Subi Blooms x Gather. The festival is set to transform Subiaco into a flower wonderland from Friday through the weekend.
VIP Launch at Found
The launch event was held at Found, where acclaimed Sydney floral artist Bryce Heyworth of September Studio participated in a Q&A session with Bec Marsh. The discussion covered his involvement in Subi Blooms, his creative process, and his collaboration with Perth studio Fox & Rabbit on the festival's headline installation at the Subiaco Oval Heritage Gate.
Guests enjoyed bespoke floral-infused beer crafted exclusively for the evening, along with interactive pop-up retail, floral activations, and food. A live DJ set the atmosphere for the night.
Festival Highlights
Subi Blooms features a trail of more than 15 floral installations across Subiaco under the theme Flora Aurora, celebrating flowers and light. The trail includes collaborative showcases and luminous public art. A new after-dark experience called The Light Within by artist Matthew Aberline will illuminate Market Square Park with giant floral lanterns.
Subi Blooms x Gather opens on Friday and runs until Sunday, offering a perfect outing for Mother's Day weekend.
