Ribs Lane Expands to Forrestfield with Microbrewery and Tavern
Ribs Lane Opens Forrestfield Venue with Microbrewery

Wildly popular smokehouse Ribs Lane is set to open a brand-new venue in Forrestfield, bringing its signature slow-cooked meats alongside an in-house microbrewery and a local tavern to Perth's eastern suburbs.

New Venue Details

The restaurant, which already operates locations in Mount Lawley and Subiaco, will offer Ribs Lane's classic smokehouse fare alongside three brewing tanks, allowing patrons to enjoy their beer "straight from the source." The combination of smokehouse and brewery marks an evolution for the brand, with the new venue described as its "most ambitious to date."

According to a statement from Ribs Lane, diners can expect "stacked trays of slow-cooked ribs dripping in glaze, flame-kissed cuts, loaded sides, and unapologetically big flavours in every bite." The food is designed to demand attention and keep customers returning, now elevated by house-brewed pours crafted to complement the menu.

Neighbourhood Tavern Vibe

The new venue will embrace a "neighbourhood tavern" atmosphere, with a capacity of 120 people and a family-friendly space that includes a playground located just outside. Ribs Lane is also setting a challenge for committed meat lovers to celebrate the Forrestfield opening.

The first seven individuals who complete the Meat Platter Challenge—polishing off a meat platter in under 15 minutes—will receive free ribs for an entire year. Winners will get $100 per month to spend on ribs at any Ribs Lane location.

Operating Hours and Amenities

Ribs Lane will be open daily from 11am until late, making it one of the longest-trading venues in the area. Free parking is available, designed with the local community in mind.
