Highway Crash Claims Two Lives in Queensland

Two people have tragically lost their lives in a late-night car crash on a Queensland highway. The incident occurred on the Peak Downs Highway, approximately 20 kilometres north of Nebo, and has prompted a police investigation.

Details of the Fatal Collision

Emergency services were called to the scene at around 10:10 PM on Sunday following reports of a head-on collision involving two utility vehicles. Upon arrival, responders discovered that both drivers had succumbed to their injuries and were declared dead at the site of the accident.

The victims have been identified as a 49-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman. Authorities confirmed that both individuals were the sole occupants of their respective vehicles, with no other passengers involved in the crash.
