Bindaring Clothing Sale
This is not your average second-hand fashion market. This year, among the thousands of pieces up for grabs at the Red Cross’ annual fundraiser is this striking lilac Jonte Designs gown. Originally worn to the Australian Cricket Awards by Juvelle Behrendorff (stylist, influencer and wife of former WA cricketer Jason Behrendorff), it’s modelled here by circular fashion advocate Charlie Smith, who describes it as a “true showstopper”. The massive sale, which has items from $2 through to vintage designer pieces, has raised more than $3.2 million over its 63-year history. The free event is at Claremont Showground, 9am-3pm, on May 16. See bindaringsale.com.au.
