Emergency services rushed to a serious collision in the Perth suburb of Claremont on Saturday morning, where a teenage boy on an e-bike was critically injured after colliding with a car.
Emergency Response on Stirling Highway
The incident occurred just after 11am on Saturday, 6 December 2025, on Stirling Highway near the intersection with Freshwater Parade. Police, St John Ambulance paramedics, and a fire crew were all dispatched to the scene in an urgent effort to treat and save the injured teenager.
It is understood the rider, a 14-year-old boy, sustained serious leg injuries in the impact. First responders provided immediate critical care at the roadside before he was transported to hospital for further treatment.

The aftermath of the crash remained visible on the busy highway well into the afternoon. An all-black Land Rover Defender was stationary at the location, with a severely damaged e-bike lying wrecked in nearby shrubs.
