A man has been killed in a late-night single-vehicle crash on a major Western Australian highway, with police now launching a public appeal for information.
Tragic collision claims life
A 35-year-old male driver died at the scene after his car left the road and collided with a tree. The incident occurred on the Brand Highway in the locality of Bambun, situated south of Gingin.
Details of the fatal crash
Emergency services were called to the southbound lanes of Brand Highway at approximately 11:25pm on Friday, 20 December 2025. The vehicle involved was a black 2011 Ford Falcon. For reasons yet to be determined, the Falcon veered off the roadway and ploughed into a tree.
The driver, the sole occupant of the vehicle, sustained fatal injuries. He was declared deceased at the location by attending emergency personnel.
