A man has tragically lost his life and two others have been injured following a serious single-vehicle crash in the Geelong suburb of Corio on Tuesday afternoon.

The collision occurred on School Road, near the intersection with Cox Road, just after 4:30 PM on Tuesday, 23 April 2024. Emergency services, including police, paramedics, and firefighters, rushed to the scene after reports of a crashed vehicle.
Upon arrival, crews found a vehicle with significant damage. Despite the best efforts of paramedics, the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a man, was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other people, understood to be pedestrians, sustained injuries and were treated by Ambulance Victoria paramedics.
