Teenager Brutally Attacked with Machete at Out-of-Control Perth House Party
Shocking footage has emerged capturing the moment a defenseless 17-year-old boy was violently assaulted by a gang wielding a machete at a house party in Perth's northern suburbs. The incident occurred on Good Friday around 10:30 pm outside a home in Mindarie, with Joondalup Detectives currently investigating but making no arrests so far.
Violent Brawl Escalates into Street Attack
According to reports from 7NEWS, the teenager, identified as Lucas, was kicked to the head and slashed with a machete after attempting to help his friend who was being assaulted by a large group of male youths. The video shows multiple individuals trading blows at the party before the violence spilled out into the street, where Lucas was chased down and left lying defenseless on the ground.
Graphic content warning: The footage depicts at least one person holding a large machete as about half a dozen young men stomp and kick Lucas in the head. He spent two days at Joondalup Health Campus recovering from multiple deep cuts to his legs, along with bruising and scratches.
Mother's Heartbreak and Safety Concerns
Lisa Jeisman, the victim's mother, described the situation as a parent's worst nightmare, stating she cannot bear to watch the videos due to their confronting nature. She expressed her heartbreak over her son's ordeal, emphasizing that he was lucky to be alive and that there was no one there to help him during the attack.
Ms. Jeisman revealed that names of potential suspects have been provided to the police, but she questioned why no further action has been taken more than a week later. She warned residents in areas like Mindarie, Butler, and Clarkson to be cautious, as the gang remains at large and could pose a threat to others attending parties.
Police Appeal for Information
