Geelong residents can expect a mild day with partly cloudy skies and a chance of a light shower later in the afternoon, according to the Bureau of Meteorology. The temperature is forecast to reach a maximum of 22 degrees Celsius, with winds from the southwest at 15 to 25 kilometres per hour.
Morning Conditions
The morning will start off mostly sunny, with a light breeze from the west. The temperature will be around 15 degrees Celsius at 9am, making it a pleasant start to the day. However, cloud cover is expected to increase as the morning progresses.
Afternoon and Evening
By the afternoon, the chance of a shower increases to 40 per cent, particularly after 3pm. The wind will shift to the south-southwest, with gusts up to 30 kilometres per hour. The UV index is moderate, so sunscreen is recommended if spending time outdoors. The evening will see clearing skies and a temperature drop to around 12 degrees Celsius overnight.
For those planning outdoor activities, the morning and early afternoon offer the best conditions. The chance of any significant rainfall is low, with less than 1 millimetre expected if showers do occur. The forecast for the rest of the week shows similar conditions, with a possible increase in cloud cover on Thursday.
