Authorities in the Australian Capital Territory have launched a public appeal for information regarding the whereabouts of a woman who has been missing from Canberra's south for two days.

ACT Policing confirmed they hold significant fears for the safety and wellbeing of 49-year-old Carmen Johnson. Her family shares these grave concerns. Johnson was last seen at a residence in the suburb of Monash on the morning of Monday, December 22. There has been no contact with her since that time.
Description and vehicle details
Police have released a detailed description of the missing woman to assist the public. Carmen Johnson is described as:
- Caucasian in appearance.
- Approximately 170 centimetres tall (5 feet 5 inches).
- With a slim build, brown shoulder-length hair and hazel eyes.
Investigators believe she may be travelling in a white 2023 Mazda CX-5 SUV. The vehicle bears the ACT registration plate YRC44L.

ACT Policing is urging anyone across the Canberra region or beyond who may have seen Carmen Johnson or her distinctive white Mazda to come forward immediately. They are particularly interested in any dashcam footage or information from the Monash area or major travel routes since Monday morning.
