A special Mother’s Day paint-and-sip experience is set to transform Joondalup’s Central Park into a curated outdoor art studio this weekend. The event, taking place on Saturday, May 9, from 11am to 4pm, is presented by the City of Joondalup in collaboration with Uptown Joondalup and Joondalup Activations.
Guided Painting with Live Jazz
Attendees will enjoy a guided painting session led by professional artists in a relaxed outdoor setting. The atmosphere will be enhanced with live jazz music, creating a shared creative experience for mothers, families, and friends. All necessary materials, including canvas, paints, brushes, aprons, and seating, will be provided. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Joondalup Mayor Daniel Kingston expressed enthusiasm for the event, stating, “Paint, Sip & Celebrate Mum is not just an art class, it’s a special experience designed to help people connect, unwind and celebrate the important women in their lives.” He added that Central Park provides the perfect backdrop and that the city is proud to showcase Joondalup as a vibrant lifestyle destination where creativity and community come together.
