Cairns is gearing up for a spectacular celebration of the legendary Jimmy Buffett, as local Parrotheads prepare to flock to a massive tribute party that promises to be a feast of music, fun, and philanthropy. The event, set to take place in the heart of the city, will see fans of the late singer-songwriter come together to honour his legacy while raising much-needed funds for charity.

The tribute party, organised by the Cairns Parrothead Club, will feature live performances from local bands playing Buffett's greatest hits, including classics like "Margaritaville," "Cheeseburger in Paradise," and "Fins." Attendees are encouraged to don their best tropical attire, with Hawaiian shirts, grass skirts, and coconut bras all welcome. The event will also include a silent auction, raffles, and a charity bar, with all proceeds going to support local community projects and environmental initiatives.
