STAGE 111 Fashion Event Launches Emerging Designers Initiative in Perth
STAGE 111 Fashion Event Showcases Perth's Emerging Designers

Perth's fashion future received a powerful boost with the launch of the STAGE 111 emerging designers initiative, a vibrant event that transformed Moana Hall into a runway of creativity and support for new talent.

A Platform for Perth's Next Generation

The event, held on December 8, 2025, was conceived with a clear mission: to provide pathways, support, and crucial visibility for the next wave of Western Australian fashion creatives. Stylist Bridget Hudson expertly curated the runway presentation, which seamlessly blended collections from both established names and fresh faces.

Guests were treated to a dynamic showcase featuring designs from retailers and labels including One Fell Swoop, Zhivago, Tania Claire Australia, and Mara Collective. The professional cadre of Chadwick models brought the collections to life, walking for an audience of 150 invited guests.

Fashion Meets Film and Flavour

The evening was about more than just clothing; it was a full sensory experience dedicated to "Fashioning a State of Creativity." Attendees enjoyed gourmet offerings from Numero Uno Ristorante and Catalano's Seafood oysters, accompanied by drinks from Ampersand Estates.

A highlight of the night was the premiere of a short film starring Fremantle Dockers' player Bailey Banfield in a secret agent role. The film served to creatively underscore the ambitious mission of the STAGE 111 project, tying the worlds of sport, narrative, and design together.

Celebrating the Creative Community

The event also functioned as a key social gathering for Perth's style set. The gallery from the night captured a who's who of local creatives and supporters, including Anya Peterson, Kristian Kammann & Kathryn Cizeika, Lucia Queiros & Paul Clarke, Charlotte Coughlan & LJ Scholtz, and Hannah De Carolis.

By launching this initiative, STAGE 111 has established a tangible new framework for nurturing fashion talent in Western Australia. The successful fusion of runway show, culinary delights, and cinematic storytelling marks a significant step in elevating Perth's profile as a hub for innovative and supported design.
