Police are confident they will identify a woman responsible for a bizarre act of vandalism at a service station in Sydney’s south.
Security cameras have captured the shocking moment a woman deliberately scratched the length of a car with an air pump at the South Hurstville BP.
The incident occurred while the vehicle’s driver was inside the service station, completely unaware of the damage being inflicted on their car.
In a brazen display, the offender didn’t appear to be in any hurry, taking her time to key the entire side of the vehicle.
Adding to the audacity of the crime, the woman then calmly pumped up her own tyre before leaving the scene.
The investigation continues today, with police working to identify the offender captured on CCTV footage.
