When it comes to handbags, the struggle is always the same. Sometimes you need a bag with a long strap, sometimes you need a bag with a shorter strap, and sometimes you need a bag with a super fun charm to finish off an outfit. Never has one bag been able to do all of these different jobs — until now.
The cult Aussie brand beloved by Meryl Streep, MAISON de SABRÉ, has today unveiled the Trio Collection, which is essentially an accessory system built around a singular idea: the most personalisable handbag ever made.
Launching today (14 May 2026), The Trio Collection introduces an all-new everyday silhouette, accompanied by a wardrobe of collectible carry accents and a limited-edition charm: The Soft Trio, The Utility Strap, The Twist Handle, and The Bow Padlock Charm.
A Handbag with 720 Ways to Personalise It
The concept is simple: one full-grain leather crossbody bag, three interchangeable carry partners, and over 720 ways to wear it. When paired together, the four elements unlock over 720 possible styling combinations — a defining step forward in personalisation and a new expression of modern luxury.
At the centre of the collection is The Soft Trio — a softly structured crossbody defined by a signature stitch-free trifold construction. A single piece of full-grain European leather runs seamlessly from front to rear, its ends intricately folded and concealed to form three distinct panels. Secured by a full-length, ultra-smooth brass zipper in high-polish gold, The Soft Trio features a detachable leather crossbody strap adjustable across seven lengths, natural suede lining, an internal keyleash, and an external SABRÉMOJI Charm Link for seamless attachment.
Infinite Possibilities in Design
“The Trio Collection is designed as a system of infinite possibilities,” the co-founder and creative director Omar Sabre said in a statement. “It’s crafted to adapt, to transform and to carry with purpose — crafting a new approach to longevity through design. Of course, our playfully optimistic world of colour was central to this new language.”
For the first time, MAISON de SABRÉ introduces its signature vivid dual-tone colour contrasts across an entire collection, spanning both new and signature hues. Two new colourways debut exclusively within this release — daisy yellow and brick red. But all of the tried and tested colours are there, too.
Sustainability at the Core
Every piece in The Trio Collection is crafted using DriTan technology — the world’s most sustainable tanning process — sourced exclusively from LWG Gold-Rated European tanneries. The Twist Handle and Bow Padlock Charm utilise upcycled leather offcuts, advancing the brand’s goal of 95% all-material utilisation.
