Fourteen Australian men have found themselves caught up in a major police operation in Bali, arrested alongside controversial OnlyFans personality Bonnie Blue during the peak of Schoolies week celebrations.
Police Storm Kuta Studio in Coordinated Raid
The dramatic events unfolded on Thursday afternoon when Indonesian authorities stormed a studio located in the busy tourist area of Kuta. The target of the raid was 26-year-old British national Tia Billinger, widely known by her online alias Bonnie Blue. Footage from the scene showed a group of men, later identified as tourists, covering their faces as police escorted them to waiting vehicles. Some were still clutching cameras or mobile phones, seemingly recording the chaotic moment.
In total, seventeen male tourists from Australia and the United Kingdom were initially detained alongside Blue. Following preliminary investigations, the fourteen Australians—reportedly aged between 19 and 40—were released to their temporary accommodation. They are currently being treated as witnesses in the ongoing case.
Immigration and Pornography Allegations Under Scrutiny
However, Bonnie Blue and three British men, aged 24, 27, and 28, remain under formal investigation. They have been handed over to Indonesian immigration authorities. Badung Police Chief Arif Batubara confirmed the development on Saturday, stating the police are conducting a joint investigation with immigration officials.
"We have handed them over to Immigration for further investigation on alleged breaking of immigration law. Police investigations are still ongoing," Batubara said. The raid was reportedly triggered by a tip from a member of the public concerning "suspected pornography or the creation of indecent video material."
Indonesia's strict anti-pornography law, enacted in 2008, prohibits the creation, distribution, or possession of material deemed pornographic. Police seized a significant amount of evidence from the scene, including:
- Several cameras and USB drives
- Condoms and sexual enhancement pills
- 19 items of clothing labelled "school bonnie blue"
- Nine pink necklaces
- A distinctive blue pickup truck
Controversial History and the "Bali Bang Bus"
The blue truck had become a notable part of Blue's social media presence in Bali. Local media reports and her own Instagram posts suggest she used the vehicle to pick up "barely legal" men around the island. On November 28, she posted a photo of the truck with the caption: "Bali schoolies, your taxi will be waiting at the airport for you tomorrow."
Another video shared on December 1 showed the adult content creator riding in the back of the stationary truck with several men, while others pushed it. She humorously captioned it: "The bali bang bus has ran out of steam but the Aussie boys haven't."
This incident is not Blue's first clash with authorities in the region. She was banned from entering Australia last year after plans surfaced that she intended to film pornographic content with 18-year-old men during Schoolies events. A Change.org petition calling for her visa to be denied garnered tens of thousands of Australian signatures.
The petition argued that Blue preyed on young boys during Schoolies to create sexual content for profit, questioning her contribution to society. The Australian Department of Home Affairs ultimately denied her entry. The latest Bali arrest underscores the ongoing legal and social controversies surrounding the adult entertainment industry's intersection with international travel and local laws.
