An Albany great-grandmother who scratched a winning $100,000 ticket with her trusty lucky clothes peg says the first thing on the celebration menu is a massive bucket of chips for the whole family.

The woman — who has eight children, 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren — said the post-win feast would need to be enormous. “We’re going to celebrate with a bucket of chips,” she laughed. “We’ll need a huge one for all the family.”

Still reeling, the great-grandmother quickly booked a flight to Perth to collect her winnings and called her daughter to organise a lift from the airport. “I’ve never felt so overwhelmed, excited and speechless,” she said.
