WA Fuel Crisis Deepens as Stations Run Dry Across the State
As the ongoing fuel crisis continues to grip Western Australia, a fresh list has emerged detailing service stations that have completely exhausted their fuel supplies. According to the latest data from the FuelWatch website, the situation has escalated, with significant shortages affecting both petrol and diesel availability.
Current Fuel Shortage Statistics
On Tuesday, March 31, 2026, the FuelWatch report reveals that 9 service stations across the state are without any petrol or diesel, marking a critical point in the crisis. Additionally, 13 service stations have no petrol—counted as empty if they lack either unleaded or premium unleaded fuel—and 27 service stations are without diesel, including those missing either standard or brand diesel.
This represents a slight improvement in petrol availability compared to the previous day, when 14 stations were reported without petrol. However, diesel shortages have worsened, with 41 stations out of diesel yesterday, indicating a persistent and growing issue for diesel-dependent vehicles and industries.
