A major emergency response is underway north of Perth after a crash between a car and a truck on the Great Northern Highway in Chittering.
Emergency Crews Race to Scene
Emergency crews were called to the scene just after 7am on Thursday. Three St John Ambulance units responded under priority one conditions and are currently on the scene.
Early reports indicate that at least one person will be taken to hospital as a result of the crash.

Heavy fog was especially bad across Perth on Thursday morning, particularly to the north and east, which may have contributed to the incident.
