Perth motorists are set to enjoy another drop in fuel prices on Saturday, with both unleaded and diesel prices falling ahead of the ANZAC Day long weekend.
Unleaded and Diesel Prices Continue Downward Trend
According to FuelWatch, petrol will dip as low as $1.61 per litre on Saturday, after dropping below $1.70 for the first time in over a month on Wednesday. The average unleaded price in the Perth metropolitan area will be $1.81, while diesel will average $2.48, down from Friday’s $2.52.
Cheapest and Most Expensive Servos
Burk in Beckenham will offer the cheapest unleaded fuel at $1.61 and diesel at $2.19. United and Vibe service stations will sell fuel at the lowest average price of $1.75. In contrast, 7-Eleven and Caltex will have the most expensive fuel, both selling for more than $1.80.
Regional Fuel Prices
Regional centres, excluding Esperance where fuel sells for $1.93, will also see cheaper fuel on Saturday. Albany, Bunbury, and Busselton will average around $1.79, while Geraldton and Kalgoorlie will average about $1.80. Karratha and Port/South Hedland remain in the $2 per litre range.
