Three ASX-listed explorers have reported notable drill intercepts, with Aldoro Resources leading on a massive 503.98-metre critical metals intercept in Namibia. Pantoro Gold returned gold grades up to 189.84 grams per tonne at Norseman, while Mithril Silver & Gold intersected 9.65 metres at 7 grams per tonne gold and 370 grams per tonne silver at Copalquin in Mexico.
Aldoro’s diamond drill hole at the Kameelburg rare earths, strontium and niobium project on the eastern flank of the carbonatite returned 503.98 metres at 1.30% total rare earth oxides, 4.01% strontium carbonate, 0.17% niobium pentoxide and 190 parts per million molybdenum from surface. The half-kilometre intercept is one of the longest mineralised core runs reported from the project and reinforces the continuity and scale of the system.
Within the broader envelope, two higher-grade zones were highlighted: an upper section of 129 metres at 1.67% TREO and 4.91% strontium carbonate, and a lower 27-metre zone running 2.39% TREO with 6.3% strontium carbonate at the base of the hole. The high-grade mineralisation at the bottom remains open at depth, signalling additional growth potential.
Backing up that drilling success, Aldoro revealed a major upgrade to its Kameelburg mineral resource this week, based on 29 diamond drill holes totalling 12,044 metres. The update delivered an inferred mineral resource of 597.07 million tonnes at 2.49% TREO equivalent, including a higher-grade component of 312.65 million tonnes at 2.87% TREO equivalent. The resource also includes a maiden inferred 596.01 million tonnes at 2.17% strontium carbonate, which the company says ranks as the largest known strontium resource globally.
Pantoro Gold outlined a potentially game-changing high-grade discovery at its Racetrack target within the Norseman Mainfield in Western Australia. Early drilling defined a high-grade zone over a current 400-metre strike length, extending from near-surface to about 600 metres depth and sitting just 600 metres north of the existing mine infrastructure. The headline hit delivered 8 metres at 28.68 grams per tonne gold, including 1 metre assaying 189.84 grams per tonne gold. A second hole delivered 5 metres at 28.73 grams per tonne gold, including 2 metres at 68.05 grams per tonne gold.
Mithril Silver & Gold reported a drill intercept of 9.65 metres at 7 grams per tonne gold and 370 grams per tonne silver from its Copalquin project in Mexico. The results continue to demonstrate the project’s potential for high-grade precious metals mineralisation.
