A baby has been freed from a car following a collision that prompted a major emergency response in Perth's northern suburbs.

Crash Details

Multiple police units, three ambulance crews, and a Department of Fire and Rescue team were dispatched to the crash on Lukin Drive in Butler, near the corner of Baltimore Parade, just before 8am on Thursday.

Officers worked meticulously to free the infant, who had become trapped in one of the vehicles after the crash.

Witness Account

A witness described the crash, reported at 7.45am, as appearing to be a T-bone collision. The baby was freed by 7.55am.

A Department of Fire and Emergency Services spokesperson confirmed no serious injuries were reported.

Road Closure

Lukin Drive has been closed in the westbound direction as emergency crews continue to manage the scene.
