A large crowd of netball-loving families descended upon Fred Finch Park on Saturday morning, as hundreds of enthusiastic young athletes participated in the Illawarra District Netball Association's NetSetGo program.
NetSetGo program thriving in Illawarra
The nationwide initiative, designed for children aged five to ten years, continues to flourish within the local community. IDNA is witnessing week-to-week growth in participation numbers.
Adapted versions of the game, which include smaller balls, shorter rims, and more hands-on coaching, allow young players to experience the joy of netball in a fun, safe, and welcoming environment.
Illawarra Mercury photographer Robert Peet was at Fred Finch Park on Saturday to capture the action and the smiling faces of the participants.
