Charles Leclerc Ties the Knot in Secret Monaco Wedding

Formula One superstar Charles Leclerc has celebrated a secret wedding with his new wife, Alexandra Saint Mleux, on the eve of the Australian Grand Prix. The rumour mill went into overdrive over the weekend when images emerged of the pair driving off in a vintage Ferrari, sparking widespread speculation among fans and media outlets.

A Lavish and Intimate Ceremony

Leclerc confirmed the happy couple tied the knot in a small but lavish ceremony in Monaco over the weekend. He shared the news on Instagram, writing, "A day we’ll forever remember," alongside a series of photos from the event. Their dachshund, Leo, played a starring role in the ceremony, nearly stealing the show in an adorable tuxedo, though he couldn't stay awake during the proceedings.

Vintage Ferrari Steals the Spotlight

The car was undoubtedly the highlight of the day, with reports suggesting it was a 250 Testa Rossa from 1957. This model is one of the most valuable cars in the world, regularly selling for over A$20 million at auction. The couple drove away in the vintage Ferrari, adding a touch of glamour and nostalgia to their special day.

Whirlwind Romance and Future Plans

The wedding caps a whirlwind five months after Leclerc and Saint Mleux announced their engagement last November, following just over two years together. However, this appears to be only the first part of their celebrations. Leclerc hinted at a much bigger wedding and ceremony next year, stating, "Part one is done and part 2 will be next year with all of our close ones."

Fashion and Social Media Highlights

Alexandra also shared a series of snaps from the ceremony, giving a shout-out to Australian fashion house Paolo Sebastien for her elegant dress. The gown featured butterfly embroidery, which was highlighted on Alexandra’s Instagram stories. She added in her post, "Dream ? Can’t wait to marry you all over again next year x."

Focus on the Australian Grand Prix

Leclerc will soon land in Melbourne ahead of this weekend’s Australian Grand Prix. The 28-year-old Ferrari driver is one of the favourites after dominating testing in Bahrain last month. His best time of one minute 31.992 seconds was 0.879 seconds quicker than McLaren’s reigning champion Lando Norris, who was second on the time sheets, making Leclerc the fastest over the three-day second test.

Leclerc commented on the testing results, saying, "We ran through our program and tested all the things we planned to. In terms of performance, it’s still difficult to understand where we really stand because teams are hiding their true form, so it’s important not to focus too much on lap times and prepare for the first race."
