Rillie pointed to the physical defensive approach of the JackJumpers' centre, Marcus Lee, as a significant factor that limited Lual-Acuil's usual dominance in the paint.

"We've got to find ways to help him be more productive and have a bigger impact on the game," Rillie stated emphatically. The coach admitted that the team's execution in feeding the post and creating advantageous situations for Lual-Acuil was not up to standard in the previous contest.

"It's a combination of him working and us trying to find different ways to get him the basketball," Rillie explained, highlighting the shared responsibility between player and team.
