Perth motorists are facing significant delays on Friday afternoon following two separate crashes on major roads. A crash on Kwinana Freeway southbound is causing heavy traffic as commuters head home for the weekend.
Kwinana Freeway Crash
The incident occurred after Mundijong Road in Baldivis, with Main Roads reporting the crash at 3:43pm. Traffic is slow and heavy on approach, and lane closures remain unknown at this stage. Authorities have reminded drivers to exercise caution if traveling through the area.
Canning Highway Crash
Further north, a second crash on Canning Highway eastbound was reported at 3:58pm. The collision is located on Canning Bridge before the turnoff to Kwinana Freeway, blocking both centre lanes of the busy intersection. Main Roads has urged motorists to use extreme caution when approaching the crash site.
Drivers are advised to allow extra travel time and consider alternative routes where possible. Updates on lane closures and traffic conditions will be provided by Main Roads as information becomes available.
