Three people have been killed in a violent attack at a home southwest of Sydney, with police arresting a man believed to be known to the victims.
Attack in Rosemeadow
Emergency services were called to Juliet Close in Rosemeadow around 1:30am on Sunday following reports of an assault. Upon arrival, NSW Police officers discovered the bodies of a woman in her 60s and a man in his 20s inside the home. A 64-year-old man was also found with critical head injuries.
The injured man was treated at the scene by paramedics before being rushed to Liverpool Hospital in a life-threatening condition. He later succumbed to his injuries.
Arrest Made
About an hour after the bodies were discovered, a 32-year-old man arrived at the home in a silver sedan and was arrested by police. He was taken to Campbelltown Police Station, where he is assisting with inquiries. No charges have been laid at this stage.
Police allege that all three victims were assaulted by a man known to them. A murder investigation is underway, and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
