Homicide detectives are investigating after a man's body was discovered under suspicious circumstances in Melbourne's south-east. The body was found inside a parked car in Noble Park on Wednesday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Walter Street shortly before 3pm following reports that a man had been found unresponsive in a vehicle. Paramedics attended the scene, but the man could not be revived.
The victim has not yet been formally identified, pending notification of next of kin. A post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death. However, police have stated that the incident is being treated as suspicious at this early stage.
A crime scene has been established, and detectives are working to piece together the events leading up to the discovery. Investigators are appealing for anyone with information to come forward and assist with the inquiry.
