A Perth couple has celebrated their union with a wedding that perfectly wove together their personal passions, family tributes, and service to the nation, creating a truly unique celebration in the heart of the CBD.
A Day of Personal Touches and Tributes
Samantha Adelaide Marchant, 30, and Adam Reece Atkinson, 35, exchanged vows on May 17, 2025, at the historic Perth Town Hall. Their reception followed at Anzac House. The ceremony was made profoundly personal by the officiant, a Royal Australian Navy chaplain, honouring Adam's role as a maritime officer in the defence services.
The couple infused the day with details that spoke to their shared loves. Guests were treated to a nod to pop icon Taylor Swift with friendship bracelets, while a sweet lolly bar paid homage to the bride's grandfather, Robert. For Samantha and Adam, the highlight was undeniable. Being surrounded by loved ones was the absolute best part of their wedding day.
Fashion and Finishing Touches
The bride looked stunning in a gown from English Rose Bridal, complemented by a headpiece from Kezani. Her custom-designed engagement ring was crafted by Diamonds and Pearls Perth. The groom, Adam, chose his formalwear from Britton's Formal Wear, with his wedding band expertly made by Kavalri Jewellery.
Celebrating Close to Home
Rather than jetting off immediately after the festivities, the newlyweds opted for a different kind of honeymoon. They chose to spend quality time in Perth with family members who had travelled from interstate and from New Zealand, extending the celebration with those closest to them.
The wedding was captured beautifully by Kelly Mossop Photography, preserving the memories of a day that was, above all, a genuine reflection of the couple's journey together.
