Perth Influencer Rahnee Bransby Unveils 2027 Wedding Plans: Traditions She'll Keep and Skip

Perth influencer Rahnee Bransby has opened up about her upcoming wedding plans, set for 2027, revealing which traditional elements she will incorporate and which she will leave out. The lifestyle and fashion influencer, who boasts over 258,000 followers on Instagram and TikTok, got engaged in November and shared the exciting news with a beautiful video of the proposal.

Her partner, Jian, presented her with an incredible yellow diamond ring that Bransby described as "beyond everything" she has ever dreamed of. In a recent TikTok video, Bransby explained that while the couple hasn't finalized all details for the 2027 ceremony, she has decided on several key aspects of the wedding.

Traditional Elements Bransby Will Include

Bransby confirmed that the reception will feature a sit-down dinner, even though it's not her personal preference. "I do like more chill non-sit-down dinner receptions, but this is something my partner really wants to do, so we'll make that wish come true for him," she said. This compromise highlights the couple's collaborative approach to planning their special day.

The wedding will also include a bridal party, with her bridesmaids wearing the same color but not identical dresses. "I don't want them to feel restricted within a certain style," Bransby explained. "I really want them to pick the style of dress they want that suits their body and makes them feel most comfortable, but I definitely do want them all in the same color. It's my fave color, and I genuinely think it looks good on everyone."

One of the moments Bransby is most looking forward to is having her father walk her down the aisle. "It will be such a special moment, I'm the only daughter in the family, and I'm so excited for that part of the wedding," she shared. Additionally, the couple has already selected the song for their first dance and plans to take dancing lessons, as Bransby humorously noted that "Jian is one of the most uncoordinated people I've ever met."

Traditions Bransby Will Skip

On the flip side, Bransby has decided to forgo several common wedding traditions. She revealed that she and Jian will not spend the night together before the wedding, believing it builds "hype and excitement" leading up to the day. "I really want the raw emotion and reaction of Jian when I'm first walking down the aisle. I love seeing that moment in weddings, and I love how raw and authentic it is," she said.

Another tradition Bransby is leaving off her list is getting ready with her bridesmaids. "I'll probably get ready in a room alone while doing my hair and makeup," she admitted, adding that she would be too unfocused and stressed if her friends surrounded her.

In an unusual move, Bransby also won't be having a champagne tower at the reception. "My partner doesn't drink, very rarely he'll have one wine and I feel like it doesn't align with us," she explained. Rather than including it purely for its aesthetic appeal, the couple prefers to allocate their budget to elements that hold more personal meaning for them.

This detailed insight into Bransby's wedding planning process offers a glimpse into how modern couples are personalizing their celebrations, blending tradition with personal preferences to create a day that truly reflects their values and relationship.
