Perth-based couple Miranda Brady and Shay Fletcher have celebrated their love story with a spectacular destination wedding on Italy's famous Amalfi Coast, bringing together friends and family from across the globe for an unforgettable celebration.
A Breathtaking Italian Backdrop
The couple, both aged 32, exchanged vows at the stunning Palazzo Avino in Ravello on July 24, 2025. This magnificent venue, often called the "pink palace," boasts a rich history as a 12th-century private villa for a noble Italian family before being transformed into a luxury hotel in 1997.
Perched 350 metres above sea level, the palace offered spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea, creating a truly breathtaking backdrop for their special day. The location held particular significance for the couple, as it was at the Miramalfi Hotel in the same region that Shay had previously proposed to Miranda.
Personal Touches and Emotional Moments
Adding a deeply personal element to the ceremony, Miranda's father served as the celebrant, making the occasion even more meaningful for the couple. Shay noted it was the first time he had ever seen his now father-in-law cry, highlighting the emotional depth of the moment.
The newlyweds had initially been anxious about their loved ones making the journey from various corners of the world, but their concerns were unfounded as everyone invited was able to attend. For some guests, this marked their very first visit to Italy, making the experience even more memorable.

Miranda showcased her style with two exquisite outfits for the big day. She wore a beautiful ceremony dress created by Perth designer Coutil Studio, later changing into a reception dress from Khya Studios for the evening celebrations. Shay looked equally dapper in a sophisticated suit by Hugo Boss.
Following the ceremony, the celebration continued at the hotel's private beach club, where the couple and their guests enjoyed their reception against the stunning coastal scenery. After the festivities concluded, Shay and Miranda embarked on an extended honeymoon adventure through Switzerland, Amsterdam, and Spain.
