The cult-favourite behind New York's Milk Bar, Christina Tosi, has brought her signature playful desserts to Australia, unveiling a brand-new creation inspired by a local classic.

Appearing on Sunrise, Tosi introduced her Lamington marshmallow cornflake crunch, a bold twist on the iconic Aussie treat, combining rich chocolate cake with fluffy marshmallow and her signature crunchy topping.

Known globally for her nostalgic, over-the-top sweets, Tosi has built a devoted following thanks to creations like her cereal milk soft serve and funfetti birthday cake, famously loved by Taylor Swift.

Now, she is turning her attention to Australian flavours, blending the familiar taste of lamingtons with the inventive style that made Milk Bar a worldwide sensation.

Tosi is in Sydney as part of American Express delicious. Month Out, where she will host an exclusive Milk Bar pop-up at Good Chemistry inside Ace Hotel Sydney from May 1 to 3.

It marks the first time Australians can experience Milk Bar locally, with the first 100 American Express Card Members each day set to receive a complimentary limited-edition dessert.
