Familiar faces from Perth’s creative community gathered to celebrate a curated collection of Mud Australia’s tableware, which is popping up inside fashion label Jac + Jack’s Claremont store for a limited time.
Two Luxury Brands Unite
The two luxury brands have come together for a two-week residency that runs until Mother’s Day on May 10. In addition to the Claremont pop-up, Jac + Jack is also taking residence inside Mud Australia’s James Street store in Brisbane.
Mud Australia’s pop-up in Perth offers local homewares lovers an opportunity to explore the brand’s porcelain creations. The collection consists of minimalist aesthetic cups, bowls, plates, and vases, available in 19 shades.
About Mud Australia
The company was founded by designer Shelley Simpson in 1994. All products are made in Sydney using porcelain clay sourced from France. Mud Australia’s first store opened in Woollahra in 2007, and now there are 13 stores around the globe, including locations in Brooklyn and London.
The Atticus Collection
Also available throughout the residency is a collaboration between Mud Australia and Jac + Jack called The Atticus Collection, which features a new earthy colour.
Among the attendees were Lissy Graham, Lara Wood, Emily Craig, Sophie Graham, and other prominent figures from Perth’s creative scene. The event was captured by photographer John Koh.
