Three people have been taken to hospital following a dramatic single-vehicle rollover in Canberra's south on Saturday evening. The incident occurred after a speeding utility vehicle lost control and flipped multiple times.

Chaotic Scene on Athllon Drive

Emergency services were called to Athllon Drive in Phillip around 6:40pm on Saturday, January 10, 2026. The crash involved a white Mitsubishi Triton bearing New South Wales registration plates.

Images from the scene show the vehicle resting on its roof in the middle of the road, surrounded by significant debris and rubbish. Police reports indicate the ute was travelling northbound before the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to roll over several times.

Occupiers Hospitalised, Police Launch Appeal

All three occupants of the Mitsubishi Triton were transported to hospital for treatment. Authorities have confirmed their injuries are non-life-threatening.

ACT Policing have now launched a public appeal for information. Officers are particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the crash or seen the vehicle travelling in the Woden and Phillip area prior to the incident.
