A fire has engulfed a vacant house on Phillip Street in Raymond Terrace, prompting a swift response from emergency services. The blaze, which broke out in the early hours of the morning, caused extensive damage to the property before firefighters managed to bring it under control.
Firefighters Respond to Blaze
Fire and Rescue NSW crews were called to the scene at around 3:30 AM after reports of flames coming from the unoccupied residence. Upon arrival, firefighters found the house well alight and worked quickly to prevent the fire from spreading to neighboring properties.
Containment Efforts
Multiple fire units from surrounding stations were dispatched to assist in containing the blaze. Using aerial appliances and ground-based hoses, firefighters managed to bring the fire under control within an hour. There were no injuries reported, as the house was vacant at the time of the incident.
