The much-anticipated WA Day Festival has officially arrived, transforming Burswood Park into a vibrant hub of celebration for a two-day extravaganza starting this Saturday.
Meet Your Favourite TV Personalities
This year's festival offers a unique opportunity for Western Australians to get up close with their favourite television stars. Fan favourites from Channel 7, including Susannah Carr, Rick Ardon, Ben Cousins, and Angela Tsun, will be making special appearances at the Seven West Summer Lounge.
The lounge is designed as the perfect spot to relax, featuring a striking red sea of beanbags, deck chairs, and umbrellas. Angela Tsun described it as the ideal place for festival-goers to put up their feet and find some shade from the sun.
Exclusive Activities and Giveaways
Attendees won't leave empty-handed. The Seven West Summer Lounge will be giving away sunglasses and exclusive Channel 7 hats. Furthermore, punters can get their hands on limited-edition 7NEWS merchandise.
For a memorable keepsake, two news-style photo-booths will be available: The West Australian Front Page Studio and the STM Photo Cabin.
Adding to the weekend's festivities, Angela Tsun will also be showcasing her culinary talents at the Spudshed Cooking Stage on Sunday morning.
Celebrating Western Australia's Beauty
Tsun took a moment to express her love for her home state, calling Western Australia the best in the country. She highlighted Rottnest Island, the famous quokkas, beautiful beaches, and the laid-back attitude as what makes WA truly special and beautiful.
The successful running of the WA Day Festival is supported by BHP, the WA Government, and Lotterywest. Organisers are encouraging all patrons to use the extensive public transport options available to get to and from Burswood Park safely and conveniently.
