Perth is buzzing with an exciting line-up of cultural events and activities this November, offering something for everyone from music lovers and ballet enthusiasts to foodies and art connoisseurs.
A Celebration of West Australian Talent
The highlight of the month is undoubtedly the free two-day WA Day festival, taking place in Burswood Park. Celebrating the state's vibrant music scene, the event features an all-WA line-up on November 22 and 23. Iconic acts like Jebediah, Drapht, Little Birdy, Voyager, and South Summit will perform free shows. The entertainment begins at 2pm on the first day and 1.15pm on the second, culminating in a spectacular fireworks display at 8pm. Beyond the music, the festival area will be packed with family-friendly activities, rides, and various performances, including two shows by OrchXstra featuring Lucy Durack and Justin Burford.
Arts and Culture in the Spotlight
For theatre-goers, a classic fairytale is making a grand return. For the first time in ten years, the West Australian Ballet’s Cinderella is coming back to His Majesty’s Theatre. Reimagined by former principal dancer Jayne Smeulders, this production is set to Sergei Prokofiev’s famous score, performed live by the West Australian Philharmonic Orchestra. Guest artistic director David McAllister promises a magical experience, stating audiences will have their dreams come true. The ballet will run for 21 performances from November 21 to December 14.
Art lovers have a limited opportunity to see photographer Daniel Njegich's exhibition, West to West. This pictorial journey, showcasing landscapes from the Pilbara to Colorado, will be on display at Subiaco's Hayside Gallery for a short run from November 20 to 30.
Lifestyle and Indulgence

In beauty news, local skincare expert Dr Kate Jameson has launched Youth Lab Direct, a new membership program. For $149 a year, members receive exclusive pricing on treatments, personalised skin advice, and complimentary gifts. Meanwhile, Perth-born brand Quick Flick has released a new fragrance collection, featuring mix-and-match scents like glazed cherry and vanilla caramel, available from $16 at Big W.
