A 20-year-old man remains in a critical condition after being struck by two vehicles in quick succession in Sydney's northwest. Emergency services were called to Walker Street in Quakers Hill at approximately 5:40 PM on Sunday, where they discovered the pedestrian had been hit by a Toyota Kluger and a Toyota Camry.
Incident Details
The man was treated at the scene by paramedics before being rushed to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition. Neither driver stopped after the collisions. However, police later attended a home on Alana Avenue in Quakers Hill after the driver of the Camry, also a 20-year-old man, contacted triple-0. He was subsequently taken to Blacktown Hospital for mandatory testing.
Second Driver Located
Meanwhile, a 44-year-old man drove to the scene and spoke with police. He has been taken to Hawkesbury Hospital for mandatory testing, and his vehicle, the Toyota Kluger, has been seized for forensic examination. Authorities believe the three parties involved were not known to each other.
Investigations are ongoing, and police are urging anyone with information or dashcam footage to contact Crime Stoppers.
