Massage therapist faces court over sexual assault claims by five women

A massage therapist is expected to appear in court facing sexual assault allegations made by five women. Police will allege that the 44-year-old man from Coogee, south of Perth, assaulted his clients during appointments that took place between 2020 and 2022.

The alleged incidents occurred in treatment rooms that he had rented within physiotherapy businesses located in the Glen Forrest and Midland areas, situated in the eastern part of the city. Authorities have urged anyone with additional information to come forward and contact Crime Stoppers.

Police first announced the accusation from one woman on April 2, which subsequently prompted four more alleged victims to step forward with similar complaints. The man has since been charged with seven counts of unlawful and indecent assault, as well as three counts of sexual penetration without consent.
