A 47-year-old man is set to face court on three counts of murder following the discovery of the bodies of a woman and two young boys at a home in southwestern Sydney. Police described the scene as 'particularly violent.'

Incident Details

Emergency services were called to a property on Raymond Avenue in Campbelltown just before 8 p.m. on Monday after a Triple-0 call was made from the residence. Upon arrival, officers found the body of a 46-year-old woman and two boys, aged 12 and four, in separate rooms of the home.

Acting Superintendent Michael Moroney stated, 'Whilst I can't give you specific information in regards to how they passed, what I can tell you is all three persons sustained significant injuries and it was a particularly violent crime scene.'

Arrest and Charges

A 47-year-old man was arrested at the scene and has since been charged with three counts of domestic violence murder. He is expected to appear before Campbelltown Local Court on Tuesday.

Moroney added, 'Whilst we've confirmed the man's identity, the link to the three people inside has not been established at this stage. However, we believe they are all known to each other.'

Investigation Ongoing

Police have confirmed they are not searching for any other suspects and believe there are no outstanding offenders. It is understood the man made the Triple-0 call requesting emergency services.

'Police have located a number of items inside the premises which would be of interest in regards to the injuries sustained by those people,' Moroney said. 'Until that crime scene is processed, I can't confirm the exact cause of deaths of those people at this time.'

The community has been left shocked by the incident, with authorities urging anyone with information to come forward.
